Bee Pickup Details
The pickup location is 1753 Ebenezer Rd, Smyrna, SC 29743. We do not ship. Please select a pickup date in the form below. Remember this date, as missing it will forfeit your order. All packages, nucs, and full hives must be picked up between 8AM and 11AM. We recommend bringing a light sheet to cover the hive(s) in case of leakage. If you purchase four or more full hives, they will be placed on four-way pallets.
Equipment Policy
We do not accept equipment trade-ins. The nuc transport box can be reused for splits or as a swarm trap. If you return your package or nuc box, we’ll gladly repurpose it.
Bee Genetics
All bees we sell — except purebred Russians — come from our locally adapted HoneyStrong stock. This includes Italian bees, known for strong honey production, and Carniolan bees, valued for their gentle nature. Our bees are bred for performance and resilience in the Carolinas.
14 day Healthy Nuc/Hive Promise
If you notice anything concerning in the first 14 days, just reach out. We're happy to help. Here is what's covered: Low or weak population, not enough brood or larvae, very low food or resources inside of the hive.
📸 Send us photos by text or email and we’ll take a look. Once we confirm the problems, we will schedule a return and provide a free replacement once the nuc or hive is brought back to our store.

Terms & Conditions
By purchasing or picking up bees (packages, nucs, and/or full hives) from Honey Strong LLC, you agree to the following:
- Pickup & Transport
- Please bring appropriate protective gear when picking up your bees, as some bees may “leak” from the package, nuc, or hive.
- Bees travel best in/on an open truck bed with proper ventilation.
- Once you leave our property, you are responsible for the safe transport, handling, and care of your bees.
- 14-Day Healthy Nuc/Hive Guarantee (Limited Guarantee)
- Honey Strong LLC provides a limited 14-day guarantee on the initial health, brood presence, and population of nucs and full hives.
- This guarantee only covers conditions that existed at or prior to pickup (e.g., insufficient brood, low population, or inadequate resources).
- The guarantee does not cover losses or declines caused by transport, installment issues, weather, environmental conditions, pests, management decisions, queen acceptance or non-acceptance, or any other post-pickup factors.
- The full details of this guarantee are provided in the “14-Day Healthy Nuc/Hive Guarantee” section below.
- Bee Health, Survival & Performance
- Aside from the limited 14-day guarantee described above, Honey Strong LLC does not guarantee the long-term survival, productivity, temperament, queen acceptance, or performance of your packages, nucs or hives after pickup.
- You agree not to hold Honey Strong LLC responsible for the success or failure of establishing or maintaining the colony.
- Queens
- We do not guarantee that queens will be successfully introduced or accepted in your hive.
- We do not guarantee queen survival beyond the conditions described in the 14-day guarantee. There are many factors that can interfere with queen acceptance.
- Refunds, Cancellations & Discounts
- No cancellations or refunds on bee orders
- Multiple discounts may not be combined
- Pickup Dates
- Pickup dates are estimates and subject to weather and other conditions affecting bee availability
Recommendations
For best results, we recommend moving the bees into their permanent hive as soon as you arrive at your destination.
14-Day Healthy Nuc/Hive Guarantee
- Honey Strong LLC is committed to providing strong, healthy nucs and full hives. If you believe the bees you purchased were not in healthy condition at the time of pickup, we offer the following limited guarantee.
- Coverage Period
- You must notify us within 14 days of arriving home with your bees.
- What Is Covered
The guarantee covers conditions that indicate the nuc or hive was insufficient at the time of pickup, including: - Inadequate brood or larvae
- Significantly low bee population
- Insufficient resources (honey/pollen stores)
- What Is NOT Covered
The guarantee does not cover: - Losses due to transport, installation, or handling after pickup
- Weather-related stress or temperature exposure
- Queen rejection, absconding, or supercedure
- Live bee packages
- How to Submit a Guarantee Claim
- Contact us via text or email within 14 days.
- Include clear photos showing your concerns (brood frames, population, resources, etc.).
- Once photos are reviewed and the issue is confirmed to be covered by the guarantee, we will schedule a day and time for you to bring the nuc or hive back.
- Replacement
- After returning the nuc or hive to our store, you will receive a replacement at no additional cost.
- Replacements are provided based on availability.
